NORTEC Training

training solutions at work

NORTEC Training is a Registered Training Organisation providing accredited, nationally-recognised training throughout Australia. We have a diverse range of offerings, as can be seen from our scope of registration. NORTEC Training specialises in the delivery of training to the Community Services sector (including Employment Services, Aged Care, Disability Work, Children’s Services and Lifestyle & Leisure), the Retail sector and the Horticulture industry.

TTEC 1_NESA Conference 2006NORTEC Training’s motto is ‘training solutions at work’. As well as its focus on quality, NORTEC Training is also leading the training industry in its diversity of training delivery methodologies and assessment strategies.

Rather than offering ‘templated’, one-size-fits-all solutions, NORTEC Training prides itself on working together with organisations to provide the best possible training solution for them and their learners.

Every day, NORTEC Training staff go that extra mile to ensure they provide superior service and the highest quality. NORTEC Training is proud to use Moodle (Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) as its course management system that allows it to deliver state-of-the-art online training throughout Australia and anywhere around the world.

NORTEC Training is an integral component of NORTEC Employment and Training Ltd, a not-for-profit, community-owned organisation based in northern New South Wales.

Return on Investment

Return on InvestmentProviding training to your staff should not be seen as merely time away from work. Several studies show that time spent in training repays an organisation in improved productivity, enhanced morale and improved staff retention. The training.com.au website provides a ROI calculator that estimates the potential return on your training investment.

The National Council for Vocational Education Research has published a number of studies relating to return on training investment.

NORTEC Training works closely with clients and employers to ensure the training we provide is as effective as possible in meeting organisational expectations and trainee learning preferences to ensure that we maximise the potential return on investment.
